Cluedome is a cross-platform program, written in wxWidgets, which allows you to play the game Cluedo (a.k.a. Clue), either on a single computer or over the Internet. It has so far been tested on Linux and Windows, and it would probably work on Mac too.

Some future version of Cluedome should have built-in detective notes. Meanwhile, you must keep your own. You may use a piece of paper, word processor, spreadsheet, etc. There are various pre-made notes which you can choose from.
You may access the Cluedome matchmaking room using any IRC client. Note that this only allows you to chat with others - you need to download the Cluedome program to actually play the game. Visit the chat page for more information, or to start the Java chat applet on this website.
Rules on players' behaviour in Cluedome may be seen on the rules page.
See the staff page to find out who the official Cluedome staff members are.
Games in Cluedome may be reported on the MyLeague CSI ladder. While this is not obligatory, many players do use this. Players should agree before the game if a ladder is to be used.
Feel free to e-mail any comments or questions you have about Cluedome to

Alternatively, ask on IRC.

If you have the CD-ROM version of Clue, you may wish to try XMPChat, and the CD Clue ladder. However, remember that not all players have the CD, and some, including myself, use non-Windows operating systems, and for us it is very difficult and inconvenient to play on the CD version. Although at the moment there is no butler voice, computer player or built-in notes, I intend to add all these features to the program, so please check back here from time to time even if you really like those features. Unfortunately there will still be no 3D mansion, but a better board image will eventually be made, and it should not be too hard to live without the 3D effects.
So it would be much appreciated if people with the CD would also come on Cluedome. You can leave Cluedome running in the background - it should not interfere with other programs, including XMPChat and the Clue CD program - so that you can see when people are available there for a game. Note that although the default settings produce a game like games.com with no points required for suggestion or accusation, this can be changed using the Game Options button on the player selection page to give a game with the same rules as the No Die option on the CD - simply set the points required for suggestion and for accusation to 3.
I myself am usually online there, with the nickname Glarbex, and this is the preferred way to contact me for a game of Clue, even if you want to play using the CD.
